Initially, the Future album was not meant to have a sequel. The original idea was to have it followed by another concept album that was completely unrelated to the characters and ideas of the first "Nick Maynard Presents..." album. I experimented with several premises, among them an album where each songs represented a different one of the Ten Commandments, an album about a shark who had to balance his love of killing with his desire to please his father, and the album that this track was on. Each song was going to be about high school romance. Then I found out that this was very similar to Disney's "High School Musical". The project was immediately scrapped but not before I recorded this song.
