I programmed the majority of this in a coffee shop on a friday night. This song was heavily inspired by two things: M83's epic synth pads and my friend Tommy's drumming. I wanted to write a song that combined my favorite parts of both of those things. I'd eventually record a version of this with live guitars and vocals (that I really love) but I've always been really proud of this version of the song.
